Boise State Offers Free ESL
Classes in Ada, Canyon Counties
Boise State
University will offer free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes beginning
in mid-January at six different locations in Boise, Meridian and Nampa.
New and returning students can register at the following places and times.
Registration takes one-and-a-half to two-and-a-half hours.
Boise
— McMillan Elementary School, 10901 West McMillan Road, 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan.
4, and Thursday, Jan. 11
— Jackson Elementary School, 334 S. Cole Road, 5-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8
— Jefferson Elementary School, 200 S. Latah St., 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10
Meridian
— Linder Elementary School, 1825 Chateau Drive, 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, and
Wednesday, Jan. 10
Nampa
— Canyon County Center, 2407 Caldwell Blvd., 1-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday,
Jan. 8-11
ESL classes are offered at various levels, from very beginning through advanced.
They are free and open to any adult living in the United States who needs to
improve his or her new language skills.

426-3440. For information on classes in Nampa, call 562-2014. Classes are
offered by the Learning Center for Adult Basic Education at Boise State
University.
