Additional Al Gore Tickets
Sell in One Day
Tickets for former Vice President Al Gore’s Jan. 22 speech at the Taco Bell
Arena sold out by 3 p.m. today. A total of 10,000
seats were available for the address. Of those, 785 went to Boise State
University students, and the Frank Church Institute has set aside 2,000 student
tickets for when students return to class next week.
On Jan. 3, 700 tickets to the address, originally scheduled for the Student
Union Jordan Ballroom, were handed out in less than 10 minutes. The event was
subsequently moved to the Taco Bell Arena and the Jordan Ballroom tickets will
be honored at the new venue.
Gore will deliver the keynote address for a daylong conference titled “Global
Warming: Beyond the Inconvenient Truth,” sponsored by the Frank Church Institute
at Boise State. Conference sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and are
free and open to the public. Gore’s keynote address, which requires a ticket,
will begin at 7 p.m. in the Taco Bell Arena.
For more information about the conference (no ticket inquiries, please), contact
