Tickets for the 2007 Gene Harris Jazz Festival On Sale Now

Tickets for the 2007 Gene Harris Jazz Festival, presented by Boise State University, are on sale now. Tickets for the April 4-7 festival may be purchased through the Qwest Arena Box Office, (208) 331-8497, or online at www.qwestarenaidaho.com.
 
Jazz Festival fans will get the chance this year to become subscribers. This program, which has three subscriber levels, entitles holders to discounts and Gene Harris Jazz Festival gifts.

• An All-Festival Pass, with a savings of 30 percent, is available for all three nights of entertainment. The pass is $53 general, $84 reserve and $132 for a table seat. The pass is available until Jan. 31.

• The All-Festival Pass is available with a savings of 20 percent from Feb. 1-28. That pass is $60 general, $96 reserve and $151 for a table seat.

• Single-ticket Club Night prices will be $29 general, $10 students. Club Night is from 5:30-10:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, in downtown Boise. See www.geneharris.org  for a detailed Club Night schedule.

• Admission to Thursday night’s concert featuring the Roger Kellaway Trio and Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band at Qwest Arena will be $22 general, $44 reserve and $75 for a table.

• Friday’s concert is a tribute to Harris with Jon Faddis and the Boise State Big Band, Luther Hughes, Ron Eschete, Niki Haris, Paul Kreibeck, Frank Potenza, Paul Tillotson, the Young Jazz Lions, the Cannonball/Coltrane Project and more. Tickets to the event at Qwest Arena are $25 general, $47 reserve and $85 for a table seat.

• $10 student tickets are available for Club Night and $12 student tickets are available for entrance to both the Thursday and Friday night events.

• To become a subscriber, visit the www.geneharris.org  Web site and click on “Tickets.” Subscriber level one, $30, entitles the holder to 10 percent off tickets and a hat. Subscriber level two, $60, entitles the holder to 10 percent off tickets, a hat, a festival mug and a special subscribers-only after hours sale at Dunkley Music. Subscriber level three, $120, entitles the holder to 10 percent off tickets, a hat, a festival mug, a Gene Harris bobble-head doll, the sale at Dunkley Music, a copy of “Elegant Soul” by Janie Harris and Robert Evancho, an invitation to a guest artist rehearsal and a discount on a special Gene Harris Jazz Rafting Trip through Hells Canyon.
