Learn About Boise State's Master's Degree in Educational
Leadership at Two Open Houses
Educators who are interested in learning more about Boise State’s master’s of
education in Educational Leadership are invited to informational meetings at 7
p.m. Feb. 20 in the Wallace Conference Room in the Education Building and at 7
p.m. March 1 in Room 220 of the Education Building.
The degree, which is offered by the College of Education, is designed for the
educator who would like to pursue a career in education administration.
Enrollment is limited, and the classes will meet one night per week and one
Saturday per month.
The five-part program is designed to help teachers create schools where all
children will learn to high levels. Completion of the first four steps of the
program will allow students to seek state certification as principals; the fifth
step is required to receive the degree.
The program focuses on real-life problems that administrators, teachers and
school districts face. The coursework features an online component, as well as
simulation, case study and problem-solving. College of Education faculty and
successful practitioners from the field handle instruction.
