Boise State University Responds to Student Death
A Statement from Boise State University President Bob Kustra:
On behalf of the entire Boise State University community, I want to express my
personal sadness and sincere condolences to the family and friends of Boise
State student Bradley Morse. As a campus community, we are shocked at this
senseless act and the loss of such a fine young man to his family, his friends
and our community.
As a senior computer science major, Bradley was an excellent student, making the
Dean’s List three times. Especially for those who knew Bradley, we recognize
that this is a very difficult time as we begin the healing process. Boise State
will provide counseling services and other aid to those who may need such
support during this tragic time. The telephone number for university counseling
services is 426-1601.
I also want to extend our sympathies to the University of Idaho and the family
of David Boss for their loss. As state universities, we are in the daily
business of educating and developing our future citizens, and the loss of these
two young men and their potential is difficult to comprehend.
I commend the local and state law authorities for their work on this case. They
are asking for assistance and anyone with information can contact 577-3702.
Those wishing to remain anonymous can call 343-COPS.
