Researcher to Discuss Emerging Technology Regions
Heike Mayer, an assistant professor at Virginia Tech University, will discuss
emerging technology regions, including Boise, during a talk at 1 p.m. Monday,
April 30, in the first-floor conference room of the J.R. Williams Building, 700
W. State St., in Boise.
She is working on a project for the National Governors Association focused on
research and development investment funds and emerging tech regions. As part of
her research on Boise’s technology heritage, she will talk about how Boise fits
into her report and what makes it unique among other growing technology
communities.
The event is free, but seating is limited. For more information or to RSVP,
