Partners of the Americas Grant Funds Trip to Ecuador for
Boise State Faculty
Two Boise State faculty members will visit universities in Ecuador later
this month thanks to a grant from Partners of the Americas. Department of
Nursing faculty Ingrid Brudenell and Molly Vaughan Prengaman will provide
workshops on curriculum and teaching strategies at the Universidad Catolica
de Cuenca and the Escuela Superior Politecnica del Chimborazo in Riobamba.
They will also meet with the leadership of these universities and the
Universidad Nacional del Chimborazo in Riobamba to develop memoranda of
agreement for future faculty and student exchanges.
Partners of the Americas brings together citizen volunteers from Latin
America, the Caribbean and the United States to improve the lives of people
across the hemisphere. The POA Idaho chapter has been integral in the
development of this particular project.
