First Cohort of Boise State Students Graduates from North
Idaho Social Work Program
The first cohort of graduates from Boise State’s Northern Idaho Master of
Social Work program will be recognized at hooding ceremonies at two sites.
Lewiston students will be hooded at 5 p.m. May 4 at the Williams Conference
Center at Lewis Clark State College. Coeur d’Alene students will be hooded
at 10 a.m. May 5 at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Bay, Room 3.
Thirty-five students are graduating from the Northern Idaho program, more
than doubling the size of Boise State’s Master of Social Work program as it
strives to meet Idaho’s need for more trained social workers.
Orientation sessions for next year’s cohorts will be held from noon-2 p.m.
May 4 in Lewiston and 1-3 p.m. May 5 in Coeur d’Alene.
