Media Advisory – Classrooms Reopened After Early Morning Gas
Leak
Due to a construction accident this morning, a gas line was punctured at the
Interactive Learning Center. Three buildings were evacuated -
Math/Geosciences, Multipurpose Classroom Building and PAAW (Campus School)
but are now open. The parking structure has also been reopened.
8 a.m. finals were redirected to Taco Bell Arena, entrance #2. Shuttles are
running along Cesar Chavez Drive to transport students from the west end of
campus to the east end.
The gas leak has been fixed, so 10:30 a.m. finals will be held in regularly
scheduled buildings.
