Women's Center Calls for Art Auction Submissions

The Boise State University Women’s Center is calling for submissions for the fourth annual Bra Project art auction. The fund raiser benefits local breast cancer awareness and prevention organizations and features a silent auction and a live auction of artistic representations of bras.

Bras may be made of any material and may be wearable or not. All submissions are donations to the auction and are due Oct. 15. Submissions should be accompanied by an artist statement.

For the 10th time in the last 11 years, Boise State University has set an all-time record for Idaho higher education institutions with an enrollment of 19,540 – an overall increase of 3.5 percent. A record freshman class of 2,280 students is also the most academically talented group ever to enter Boise State, including 12 National Merit finalists.
