Boise State University Volunteer Services Board Hosts 'Into
the Streets Community Event'
The Boise State University Volunteer Services Board, a student group, will
host Into the Streets at 9 a.m. Oct. 6 in the Student Union Hatch Ballroom.
Community volunteers are invited to attend.
Into the Streets is held every fall and is a single day of service during
which volunteers can contribute to a number of local non-profit
organizations. Last year more than 175 students, faculty and community
members volunteered more than 600 hours at more than 20 different agencies.
This year, the Volunteer Services Board is looking for 300 volunteers.
Volunteers will meet at the Hatch Ballroom and will be broken into groups to
serve with several non-profits.
To help with Into the Streets, call Christian Belden at 426-2979.
