More than 400 Latino students from area high schools will visit the Boise
State campus Oct. 12 for Mirando Adelante, a campus visitation program
hosted by the Office of Admissions to encourage students to “look ahead” to
a college education.
Through hip-hop music and break-dancing, special guest lecturer Patrick
Perez will share his unique perspective on achieving goals and overcoming
obstacles. Students will also attend an academic fair, get tips from Boise
State students on being successful, learn about scholarships, and enjoy a
dance.
