ROTC Ranger Challenge Puts Cadets Through Their Paces
Boise State University will host the regional ROTC Ranger Challenge Oct.
13-14. More than 100 cadets from Boise State, Idaho State, BYU-Idaho,
Gonzaga, Montana, Montana State and the University of Alaska, Fairbanks,
will converge on campus for the annual test of fitness, team-building, hand
grenade assault, land navigation and more.
The public is invited to watch the competition and to participate in an
inflatable obstacle course on the intramural field just north of the Student
Union Building.
Please note that cadets will be in uniform and carrying FAKE guns and hand
grenades as they participate in activities in the intramural field and along
the Greenbelt.

For the 10th time in the last 11 years, Boise State University has set an
all-time record for Idaho higher education institutions with an enrollment
of 19,540 – an overall increase of 3.5 percent. A record freshman class of
2,280 students is also the most academically talented group ever to enter
Boise State, including 12 National Merit finalists.
