BSU Foundation Adds Two Advancement Staff Members

Two new advancement employees have joined the Boise State University Foundation staff. Alicia Ritter is the new director of grant and fundraising initiatives and Jim Ogle has been named special assistant to the president.

Ritter comes to Boise State with extensive public relations and marketing experience at Ritter Consulting Inc., Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and Deen+Black Public Relations. She worked in the areas of fund development and public communications at the University of California, Davis’ Institute of Governmental Affairs and has consulted with nonprofit, government and corporate clients on a broad range of issues.

Ogle is the former artistic director/conductor and director of planned giving and major gifts for the Boise Philharmonic Association. He will work closely with Boise State President Bob Kustra and other university officials to cultivate donor relationships to support music and arts programs at Boise State.

For the 10th time in the last 11 years, Boise State University has set an all-time record for Idaho higher education institutions with an enrollment of 19,540 – an overall increase of 3.5 percent. A record freshman class of 2,280 students is also the most academically talented group ever to enter Boise State, including 12 National Merit finalists.
