Boise State Offers Farm Management Program in Nampa, Lewiston
Beginning Nov. 6
The Selland College of Applied Technology at Boise State University will
start a new session of the Farm Business Management program in Nampa and
Lewiston on Nov. 6.
The program is designed to equip farmers with the knowledge and skills to
manage the production, marketing and financial sides of a farm or ranch.
Instructor David Wells brings nearly 30 years of local farming experience to
the classroom.
The three-year course is offered through the Center for Workforce Training
at Boise State. Classes are offered at the Canyon County Center in Nampa and
at Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston.
The program recently completed a market survey in the Twin Falls area and
may offer future classes in south-central Idaho. However, no classes will be
offered there this year.
Enrollment for the Nampa and Lewiston courses is still open. For more
information or to register, contact the Center for Workforce Training at
426-1861, or Wells at 562-2019.
