Fred Roe Joins TechHelp as Account Manager
Combines Engineering & Account Management Expertise

Boise, ID – TechHelp announced today that Fred Roe has joined the organization as an Account Manager. Roe will work with TechHelp’s manufacturing specialists statewide to help improve the competitiveness of Idaho manufacturers, food processors and inventors. “With the major shake-out taking place in our economy, Fred will look for opportunities to help companies streamline costs, improve their products and break into new markets,” said TechHelp Executive Director Michael Wojcicki. Roe will be based at TechHelp’s home office at Boise State University and will report directly to Wojcicki.

Roe brings a strong and diverse background to TechHelp. After graduating from the University of Missouri in Rolla with a degree in chemical engineering, Roe came to Boise in 1990 to work as a Development Engineer at Micron. He enjoyed success in Micron’s R&D lab where he supervised a high-performance team, developed new production processes and authored three patents.

Roe’s preference for working directly with clients led him out of the R&D lab and into increasingly responsible account management positions with companies such as Lam Research, Canon and DNS Electronics. As an account manager, he relies on his outgoing and energetic style and his engineering background to cultivate and maintain excellent relationships in dynamic and challenging environments. "Fred has the talents to help us be more effective by listening to our clients and uncovering the root causes of what’s costing them money and keeping them from making more money,” said Wojcicki.

“In today’s challenging economic environment, I feel especially privileged to be in a position to help Idaho manufacturers lower operating costs and improve sales and profits,” said Roe.
