May 29-June 25. 30th annual Idaho Watercolor Society
Juried Membership Exhibition. Student Union Art
Gallery. Reception is June 5 from 6-7:30 p.m. followed
by an awards ceremony from 7:30-9 p.m. Free parking will
be available in the Liberal Arts parking lot during the
reception. This juried member’s exhibition presents the
best water-media paintings of artists who live in the
state of Idaho. The work exemplifies skill, creativity,
imagination, a desire to communicate an original vision
and works that simply come from the heart. This year’s
juror is Pat Weaver. She will provide a lecture
presentation regarding her work with an accompanying

“Spelling Bee.” Morrison Center. 7:30 p.m. May
27, 28; 8 p.m. May 29. “The 25th Annual Putnam County
Spelling Bee” won the Tony Award for new musical comedy.
The musical features six young people in the throes of
puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to
escape childhood themselves, learn that winning isn’t
everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you
a loser. “Spelling Bee” has been hailed by the Wall
Street Journal as “perfect in every possible way—that
rarity of rarities, a super smart musical that is also a

Job Search Boot Camp. Jordan Ballroom A and B.
8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The Job Search Boot Camp is open to
Boise State juniors, seniors and alumni and graduating
seniors from other Idaho institutions, including
Lewis-Clark State College, College of Idaho, Northwest
Nazarene University, Idaho State University and the
University of Idaho. The cost is $5 for those who
graduated from Boise State in fall 2008 or who will
graduate in spring and summer 2009 and $10 for all other
Boise State alumni, cash or check only. Seniors from
other schools can enroll for $15 and have the option to
pay by credit card. Tickets can be purchased at the
Career Center, located inside the Alumni Center at 1173

Trey Mclntyre Project Performance. Special Events
Center. 2 p.m. May 29 and 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. May 30. The
program is Boise’s send-off of the local dance troupe as
they make their way to the Joyce Theater for their first
New York season. Internationally renowned dancer Trey
Mclntyre is the artistic director and choreographer.
Tickets are $25-$45. Boise State student and staff

problems encountered in the field of environmental and
