POW-10302009-FULL

The Department of Theatre Arts will present Shakespeare’s classic “As You Like It” Nov. 12-15 and 18-22 in the Danny Peterson Theatre. Set in Colonial America, Boise State’s re-imagining of the pastoral comedy will feature period costumes made by the Theater Arts costume shop and rented from Hollywood film studio Warner Bros. The play follows its heroine, Rosalind (played by Lina Chambers), as she flees persecution in her uncle’s court and finds safety and love in the Forest of Arden. Associate professor of theatre arts Gordon Reinhart will direct.

Boise State students, faculty and staff may receive free tickets in advance with valid ID at campus ticket offices; free tickets will not be available at the door. Students may purchase a ticket for $5 with a valid student ID one hour prior to performance start time, depending on ticket availability.
