“Fit-Gap” is a term used in conjunction with the University Enterprise Roadmap, but what does it mean?
Fit-gap is an analysis comparing current university business processes to a delivered product (such as PeopleSoft), and determining how processes fit, or where gaps may occur, in the delivered product’s functionality.
The Campus Solutions Roadmap project recently conducted a fit-gap analysis for student systems, and the results of that analysis are now available on the Roadmap website. These finalized documents cover:
- Academic Structure
- Academic Advising
- Campus Community
- Financial Aid
- Student Financials
- Student Records
The Roadmap Leadership Team encourages all who are interested to read through the fit-gap documents and engage with the Campus Solutions project team by asking questions or submitting comments.
Learn more about the fit-gap process, along with other Roadmap projects, on the University Roadmap website.
