Update

Construction of a new deck has commenced on the Bob Gibb Friendship Bridge over the Boise River. The Greenbelt bridge, which connects Boise State to Julia Davis Park near the south side of Zoo Boise, is expected to be closed to pedestrian and bicycle traffic until Sept. 8. Detours divert traffic to Cesar Chavez Lane. Bridge crossings remain open nearby at Broadway Avenue, Capitol Boulevard and Ann Morrison Park.
