				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The University Enterprise Roadmap has scheduled two drop-in lab, hands-on sessions for faculty and staff for assistance with my.BoiseState, the refreshed PeopleSoft Campus Solutions system, and myInsights Business Intelligence Reporting Services systems.</p>
<p>These free drop-in lab sessions do not require registration, and are scheduled for 10-11 a.m. March 5 and 1:30-2:30 p.m. March 6. Both sessions will take place in the Employee Learning &amp; Development Classroom, PAAW (use the Human Resource Services entrance).</p>

<p>The Roadmap is implementing new and updated systems during the week of Feb. 25, including changes to PeopleSoft security and systems, redirection of BroncoWeb, retirement of numbered PeopleSoft accounts (e.g., Back Office &#8220;8&#8243; accounts), the new my.BoiseState for Students experience, and myInsights Business Intelligence and Reporting Services.</p>
<p>Members of the Roadmap leadership team will present an overview of these changes, discuss learning opportunities and resources, and answer questions from attendees.</p>
<p>Come learn about the important changes taking place in late February and participate in the discussion.</p>

<p>Recommendations from some computing authorities have included removing Java software completely from computers. However, many web applications used daily by the university community require Java to run on your computer, and the Office of Information Technology utilizes several security measures to protect you computer and your data from the vulnerabilities caused by the Java software.</p>
<p>However, if you are concerned about this latest software vulnerability, the Office of Information Technology is available to assist you with disabling the Java web browser plug-in on your computer.</p>

<p>The number of people unwittingly divulging personal information as a result of falling for email messages disguised as notices requiring immediate action from banks, IT support, billing firms, and other organizations is on the rise at Boise State. OIT hopes that by alerting campus to current scams it can avoid breaches in data privacy and security.</p>
