Sign up for Walking Rally

By: Kathleen Tuck   Published 11:21 am / June 4, 2009

walkingrallyTeams are now being formed for the June Walking Rally, a competition that emphasizes physical activity, teamwork and fun. The event is from noon to 1 p.m. June 17. Even if you participated in a past Walking Rally you must sign up again on the Health, Wellness and Counseling Services Web site.

Create Walking Rally teams with your coworkers — teams can be from three to five people. Each team will be given a list of clues of locations around the Boise State campus (make sure one member of your team brings a digital camera). The team that finds the most locations within the hour time limit wins a prize. The individual with the most steps during the rally also wins a prize.

The day of the event, meet in front of Health, Wellness and Counseling Services to receive your clues and a pedometer. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella or raincoat in case of inclement weather.
