Boise State Writing Center is Open for Fall Semester

By: Kathleen Tuck   Published 11:58 am / September 8, 2009

The Writing Center is a free service open to all students at Boise State — a place where students can find support for all of their writing efforts. Center consultants are ready to talk with students about their work at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to revising. All consultations are done by appointment. Students may schedule a consultation either by walking in to the center in Room 200 of the Liberal Arts Building or calling ext. 6-1298. Appointments also can be made online.

The Writing Center is open:

  • Monday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The center is still offering e-mail consultation service. Consultants also are available to visit classes and speak with students about center services. Call Melissa Keith at ext. 6-7028 or e-mail her at melissakeith@boisestate.edu to schedule a visit, ask questions or request promotional materials. Keith also is available to talk about how to incorporate a Writing Center component in your class.
