Parents and other family members are invited to the Boise State campus for a weekend of fun Oct. 30-Nov. 1. Parent and Family Weekend includes food, campus tours, a hike to Table Rock, games, lectures, a tailgate party, Bronco football and a chance to touch the blue turf.
Registration is now open. All events are free except for the pancake breakfast with President Bob and Kathy Kustra and the Boise State vs. San Jose State football game. Registration is required for each event you plan to attend. “An Evening with David Sedaris” also is scheduled for that weekend at the Morrison Center.
To register, e-mail SheriMuncy-Freeman@boisestate.edu with the student’s name and the names of all others who will be attending. A complete schedule of events will be mailed two weeks in advance.
In addition to numerous free events, the following opportunities are available.
- Pancake Breakfast. Join President Bob and Kathy Kustra and members of the Division of Student Affairs, deans, faculty and student leaders at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, for a discussion on the exciting things happening at Boise State. Cost is $5 per person or $10 per family.
- Boise State vs. San Jose State home football game. Purchase tickets in a special Family Section at Bronco Stadium for $49 each. Kick-off is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. Tickets are limited.
- “An Evening with David Sedaris.” See humorist Sedaris at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Morrison Center. Tickets are $40-$55 at mc.boisestate.edu.
