Linda Burnett Named the 2010 Outstanding Classified Employee

Linda Burnett, management assistant for the Department of Instructional & Performance Technology in the College of Engineering, has been named Boise State’s 2010 Outstanding Classified Employee. The announcement was made at the Association of Classified Employees’ annual general meeting and spring luncheon held on April 6.

Burnett, a 20-year employee at Boise State, was recognized for taking active leadership roles in campus organizations, acting as a voice for students and staff, and setting an example by providing the best service to her department, the university and the community.

Other nominees for the award who also were recognized at the luncheon are Glenn DeSpain, Marian Graham, Susan Henggeler, Lindsay Jensen, Mary Kenworthy, Jane Sailor and Jenny Weaver.
