An exhibition titled “6 Sides 2 Every Story” will be on display in the Student Union Gallery June 30-Aug. 7. A reception is from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 30, in the gallery on the second floor of the Student Union Building. Light refreshments will be provided.

The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public. Free parking is available for the reception in the Liberal Arts parking lot adjacent to the Special Events Center.

“6 Sides 2 Every Story” displays the outcome of a project organized in 2008 by Boise State alumna Candace Nicol. More than 450 participants were asked to illustrate their own perspectives by carving one side of a wooden cube. Each cube represents a current story found in a national/international article, Internet posting or magazine. The culminating project consists of 91 completed cubes and includes artists from the United States, Canada, England and South Africa.

The project is funded in part by the Nevada Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts and Sierra Arts.
