Major events on campus this weekend may pose a parking challenge for students, staff and visitors. Following is an update on temporary parking restrictions for Saturday, Dec. 3.
Bronco Football v. New Mexico, Men’s Basketball v. Indiana State
Boise State’s football team will face New Mexico at 4 p.m. at Bronco Stadium, severely limiting parking for those planning to attend the men’s basketball game v. Indiana State at 8 p.m. at Taco Bell Arena. All patrons are highly encouraged to carpool, use alternative transportation or arrive early to park on campus.
Parking in the Stadium lots will be reserved through 8:30 p.m. for Bronco Athletic Association football and basketball permit holders only. Boise State permits holders will not be allowed to enter to park and $5 public parking will not be available in the Stadium lots or the lots south of University Drive for the basketball game.
All patrons attending the Boise State basketball game should expect traffic flow restrictions near campus after the football game in an effort to ensure the safety of those leaving the game and those arriving to campus.
In an effort to limit additional traffic, fans attending both the football and basketball games are encouraged to not attempt to relocate their vehicles between games. Those who purchase football parking will be allowed to remain in the same location and use their permits for the basketball game, as well; however, no re-entry will be allowed for any reason after the end of the second quarter of the football game.
Traffic Advisories and Street Closures
Grant Street Closure
