The Department of English will present the third annual English Alumni Panel at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, in Room 112 of the NORCO Building.
Panelists will discuss what they have done since graduating from Boise State and share advice with current students and answer questions about career options in their field.
The panel includes:
- Tom Hillard, ’98, General Option, American Literature Emphasis. Former Sigma Tau Delta president (the English honors organization) and currently a member of the literature faculty.
- William Love, ’02, General Literature Emphasis. Former EMA president, sports writer and editor for the Idaho Press Tribune (Nampa) and now teaches journalism in Sandpoint
- Natalie Orgill, ’06, Technical Communication Emphasis. Works for Hewlett-Packard Company as an IPG Content Development Lead technical writer.
- Zach Espil, ’10, Linguistics Emphasis. Taught English in Japan and was a research assistant at Osaka University; entering a graduate program in TESOL in the fall.
