Bronco FAN … Thursday! Be Loud and Proud at Sept. 20 Football Game

By: Kathleen Tuck   Published 3:04 pm / September 18, 2012

Bronco Nation is encouraged to turn out in strength on Thursday, Sept. 20, by wearing blue and orange all day and “making some noise” throughout the game against the BYU Cougars.

Fans are encouraged to stay through the end of the game and cheer on the home team to show community support for the Broncos. Kickoff time is 7 p.m. in Bronco Stadium.

“I know how important the crowd is, and I’m being 100 percent serious. Crowd noise, like I’ve said forever, is very difficult to deal with,” said Coach Chris Petersen in an Idaho Statesman interview. “If we can have our people as loud as they’ve ever been, I promise you it will help us.”

Fans are also encouraged to wear blue and orange on Friday. Bronco FAN Friday is an ongoing, weekly celebration of Boise State pride. The campus and community tradition of wearing blue and orange each Friday provides all of Bronco Nation a chance to show their pride for Boise State no matter where they are or what they are doing.

Extending this tradition to a game-day Thursday shows support for every aspect of what makes Boise State a great place to live and learn. From academics to athletics, show your colors and “B Proud.”
