Grady Wright

GradyWright100x125Grady Wright, associate professor of mathematics, recently returned from the 14th International Conference in Approximation Theory in San Antonio, Texas, where he was invited to give one of eight plenary lectures.  Wright gave an hour presentation on his research titled, “Approximation on Surfaces with Kernels: Recent Developments and Applications.” The presentation addresses his recent work in computational and applied mathematics that has direct applications to the biological sciences and geosciences.

Presenters came from the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Norway. A total of 21 countries were represented at the meeting.  Learn more about the conference at
