Five service-learning faculty from a variety of disciplines presented a symposium on April 30 at the 2013 American Educational Research Association Conference in San Francisco. The session on measuring the impact of service-learning on student learning was chaired by Faith Beyer Hansen of the Service-Learning Program. The following faculty members presented papers: Michael Humphrey, Department of Special Education and Early Childhood Studies; Sasha Wang and Margaret Kinzel, Department of Mathematics; Matthew Hansen, Department of English; and Anne Gregory, Department of Literacy.
