Heike Henderson and Beret Norman

Heike_Henderson100x125Norman_BeretHeike Henderson, professor of German, and Beret Norman, associate professor of German, from the Department of World Languages, participated in the German Studies Association Conference held Oct. 3-6 in Denver, Colo. Henderson’s presentation focused on transnational experiences and the role of food in Yadé Kara’s novel “Cafe Cyprus.” She also moderated a panel on German and Austrian crime fiction. Norman presented a paper on a contemporary novelist titled “Antje Rávic Strubel’s Mission as Public Intellectual.”
