A recent episode of University Television Presents has landed on the United States Association of Former Members of Congress website, usafmc.org/us-programs/congress-to-campus/. The 30-minute episode features interviews with former congressmen Tim Roemer and Tom Petri, who visited campus in mid-April as part of the Congress to Campus program, sponsored by the Frank Church Institute.

University Television Productions is a media production unit of Boise State’s University Television. Students enrolled in production courses get hands-on experience in video production and serve the Boise State University campus and community by recording and broadcasting a wide-range of educational, cultural and sports programs.

While on campus, the former congressmen met with the Boise State Young Democrat and Young Republican clubs, as well as university Honors College students and military science cadet students. During their stay in Boise, the duo also attended a meeting of the Boise Committee on Foreign Relations and spoke with local high school students about their experiences in public service.
