Two international opportunities for faculty and staff have been announced by International Learning Opportunities.

Faculty International Development Award Scholarship Opportunity

Mike Stefancic from the Service-Learning program on a FIDA to Bangalore, India.

The University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) and International Learning Opportunities invite faculty and professional staff members to apply for a Summer 2017 Faculty International Development Award (FIDA).

This program is geared toward faculty and staff with limited international experience. The goal of the program is to increase awareness of study abroad, familiarity with USAC and to thereby help internationalize the home campus.

USAC pays the program tuition and participants will receive a stipend to cover the airline ticket and additional expenses if eligible (additional expenses are the responsibility of the recipient).

Applicants must be returning on contract to Boise State University following the FIDA experience. There will be four FIDAs awarded at Boise State. The deadline to apply is Friday, Nov. 18, 2016. Applications and additional information can be found at the International Learning website.
