The Center for Teaching and Learning is now accepting applications for May Summer Course Design Institutes. This year, the CTL is offering a Course Design Institute 2.0 in addition to Course Design Institute 1.0.
- In CDI 1.0, a five-day working institute, participants will focus on the role of course design in the overall act of teaching and write learning outcomes that will provide focus for the course activities and assessment. By the end of the week, participants will have substantial work completed towards a new or revised course design.
- CDI 2.0 is designed for those who have previously participated in the full Course Design Institute. Over three half-days, this program will engage participants in using the principles of backwards design to align learning outcomes, course activities, and assessment. By the end of the program, participants will have substantial work completed towards a new or revised course design.
