Releases from Lucky Peak Dam will be increased incrementally over the next few days to accommodate high levels of snow melt in the mountains. By Friday, the Boise River will be at 6,000 cubic feet per second (CFS). Flood stage is 7,000 CFS. Some areas of the Greenbelt may be impacted.

County emergency managers report the upstream Boise River watershed reservoir system is 60 percent full and the snowpack water equivalent is 141 percent of average.
