Meet Candidates for College of Engineering Dean

Provost Martin Schimpf has invited four finalists to campus to interview for the position of dean of the College of Engineering. The candidates will meet with faculty, staff, students and community members to share their visions and interest in the position.

Open forums have been scheduled for each candidate and all are encouraged to attend. The candidates will deliver a 30-minute presentation on their vision for the college followed by a 30-minute Q-and-A session.

The finalists are Mary Rezac, Stacy Gleixner, JoAnn Lighty and James Ferri. Applications for the finalists can be found at  https://coen.boisestate.edu/search-dean-college-engineering/. (You must be logged into your myBoiseState account to view these.)

  • Dr. Mary Rezac from Kansas State University, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, MEC 106
  • Dr. Stacy Gleixner from San Jose State University, 9-10 a.m. Friday, March 3, ENGR 110
  • Dr. JoAnn Lighty from the University of Utah (currently on loan to the National Science Foundation), 10:30-11:30 a.m. Monday, March 6, MEC 106
  • Dr. James Ferri, from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Monday, March 13, MEC 106
