Help Beautify Campus on University Day April 26

By: Cienna Madrid   Published 11:11 am / April 20, 2017

The Boise State University campus community is invited to participate in the annual University Day event from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Wednesday, April 26. Check-in tables will be available on the Student Union (SUB) Patio and on the Quad, and free University Day T-shirts will be handed out while supplies last.

University day involves students, faculty and staff coming together to improve their campus community on a beautiful day at the end of the spring semester by engaging in a variety of volunteer projects in an effort to ‘give back’ to Boise State University.

This year’s University Day activities include planting flowers at the B Plaza and in planters, shining the “B,” weeding flower beds, raised concrete mapping, trash and cigarette pick-up, washing windows, mulching flower beds and more.

All supplies for the projects will be provided – although wearing suitable clothing and bringing work gloves from home is not a bad idea.

Questions regarding the event can be sent to Chris Hyer at ChristopherHyer@boisestate.edu.
