May in Motion Starts Monday, May 1

By: Cienna Madrid   Published 7:16 am / May 1, 2017

The annual tradition of May in Motion is upon us, meaning it is time to reimagine your daily commute and consider giving biking, carpooling and mass transit a try in lieu of driving your car to work — some SMART modes of transportation.

Boise State is offering weekly prizes throughout the month of May, and you only need to utilize an alternative form of transportation four times or more to qualify for prize drawings. Click on this link to register as part of Boise State’s team, explore your commuting options and begin logging your commutes: https://www.sharetherideidaho.com/Public/Home.aspx?CustomSubSite=boisestate

In order to be eligible for prizes, please email Christine Boyles (with photos) at: christineboyles@boisestate.edu

Prizes will be awarded for funniest commute, biggest commute (how many fellow employees can you squeeze into your vehicle), most creative bike commute and best dressed walker.

Prizes include: commuter and reserve scratch off daily parking permits (five per winner), a free basic tune up at the (CLC) Cycle Learning Center, a bike rental for two at the (CLC) Cycle Learning Center and other Cycle Learning Center surprises.
