Boise Sculptors Guild Exhibition in Baker City, Oregon, July 7-29

Piece of wood, art.The Boise Sculptors Guild, an Associated Students of Boise State University group, is having a group exhibition at the Crossroads Carnegie Art Center in Baker City, Oregon. The opening reception is Friday, July 7, and the exhibition will be on display through July 29. The exhibition includes artwork by faculty, students and alumni of the Boise Sculptors Guild.

The following artists will have work on display during the exhibition: Francis Fox, professor of sculpture; Lily Lee, assistant professor of sculpture; Ben Victor, professor of the practice; and Kris Hargis, adjunct art instructor.

Alumni include: Saratops McDonald, BFA in sculpture 2009; Cami Clemo, BFA in art metals 2012; Susan Harris, BFA in sculpture 2015; Thomas Finnegan, BFA in sculpture 2016; Aarin Bigler, BFA in interdisciplinary art 2017; and Shelley Needles, BFA in sculpture 2017.

Current students include: Shawn Edrington, Boise Sculptors Guild president, current graduate student working towards a MFA in visual art; Erika Reed, current graduate student working towards a MFA in visual art; Dan Clements, current undergraduate student working towards a BFA in graphic design; Charles Haman, current undergraduate student working towards a BFA in sculpture; Conor CdeBaca, current undergraduate student working towards a BFA in sculpture; Maddie Fluharty, current undergraduate student working towards a BFA in sculpture; April Duram, current undergraduate student working towards a BFA in sculpture; and John Asher, current undergraduate student working towards a BFA in visual art​.
