Boise State University’s Texie Montoya, associate special counsel, and Matt Wilde, general counsel, have been selected as award recipients for the 2017 Idaho State Bar annual meeting July 12-14, in Moscow, Idaho.
Montoya has been selected to receive the 2017 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award by the Board of Commissioners of the Idaho State Bar. The award is given to an Idaho attorney who is under 37 or in the first five years of practice, to recognize the attorney’s commitment to the legal profession through a contribution of time and resources to benefit Idaho lawyers and the public.

Montoya’s work as associate special counsel involves advising campus clients which include the Department of Public Safety, Athletics and University Advancement.
