Two members of the Boise State community will present next Thursday, July 13, during a series of classes and discussions at the Cathedral of the Rockies that are free and open to the public. This year’s theme of Cathedral College is the journey to justice and peace in our community.

At 12:15 p.m. on July 13, Greg Hahn, vice president for communications and marketing, will participate in a panel called “Bury the Lead: Seeking the Truth in Media.” This panel will discuss the rise of fake news websites, among other developments. Hahn is associate vice president for communications and marketing.

At 6:30 p.m. on July 13, Honors College Dean Andrew Finstuen will screen a documentary he recently produced titled, “An American Conscience: The Reinhold Niebuhr Story,” about the notable American theologian. Finstuen is dean of the Honors College and an associate professor of history.

Cathedral College classes are taught by experts from the Boise area. Pre-registration is closed, but participants may register at the door.
