The Office of Information Technology will install new equipment requiring a disruption in campus networking services between 6-6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, and Friday, July 28.
This new equipment will make Boise State’s network more robust by addressing potential points of failure. While these scheduled outages may be less than 30 minutes each, OIT is planning for 30 minutes in case of unexpected results.
During these two maintenance windows, Boise State’s external access to the internet will be unavailable, which will impact both wired and wireless network on campus, and systems that use the internet (e.g., Google Apps). The university’s campus telephone system will remain available.
