Kick off the new school year and meet up with members of Boise State’s research community who want to learn and share about coding, computing, research and scholarship.

From 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, the Office of Research Development is hosting a pizza meet-up in the Computer Science Building in downtown Boise (City Center Plaza, 777 West Main St., Room 221).

This is a time for anyone interested in learning or advancing their coding and computing skills – from novice to intermediate – to meet up and learn more about campus resources and what’s in store for the coming year.

At this kick-off meeting, everyone will get a chance to:

  • Meet and greet like-minded members of the Boise State community (students, post docs, faculty and support staff)
  • Share coding and scholastic interests and needs
  • Learn about campus resources for coding and computing support
  • Eat pizza!

Please feel free to forward this invite to students and faculty interested in attending, and if you have any questions about the meeting, email
