Idaho’s largest entrepreneur-focused event, Boise Start Up Week, enters its second year with a fun packed five-day celebration of startup-related events hosted in the heart of the new downtown Boise State University campus. Events will take place at the Computer Science department and the Venture College, as well as Trailhead, Boise Centre on the Grove and JUMP.
The week is highlighted by a Virtual Reality Bash, a block party at Boise Centre on the Grove, a social impact/B Corp mixer at the Boise State Computer Science department, a new pitch competition at the Boise State Venture College and a Bronco football watch party. Activities begin with a sponsor/VIP welcome party on Tuesday evening, Oct. 3, followed by three full days of panel discussions, breakout sessions, key note presentations and tours.
The Computer Science department will host a design sprint-rapid prototyping session, a social impact/B Corp mixer, a tech start-up session and other activities including a high school tour. The Venture College will sponsor and host the new startup pitch competition in their new Pitch Training Center as well as an IP Concerns for Startup Founders session and a high school tour.
