Boise State’s Tailgate Recycling Program Returns This Season

Boise State University students, faculty, staff and fans are invited and encouraged to participate in this season’s tailgate recycling program supported by Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability. Tailgate recycling will occur for all home games beginning Thursday, Sept. 14.

Students are invited to join the program by volunteering during games, passing out blue recycling bags to tailgaters, educating fans on recycling and where the blue bags can be placed at the end of the game. Contact Kat Davis (katdavis655@boisestate.edu or (208) 426-3943) to join the program.

Everyone in the Bronco community is invited to participate in the program by utilizing the recycling bags and doing their part to help keep recyclables out of the landfill.

Tailgate recycling will take place as follows:

Thursday, Sept. 14: 3-8 p.m. with kickoff at 6 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 22:3-8 p.m. with kickoff at 6 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 21: TBD, kickoff time TBA
Saturday, Nov. 4: TBD, kickoff time TBA
Saturday, Nov. 18: TBD, kickoff time TBA
