Come learn about and celebrate the diversity of the Boise community through the power of refugee storytelling at “A Night with Refugee Storytellers,” from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in the Bishop Barnwell Room.
Individuals who came to Boise as refugees will share their personal experiences and provide insights on what unites us all. Attendees will have the opportunity to reflect on the stories and to dialogue with the storytellers and others. Resources will be provided for those interested in learning more about the experiences of refugees. Cookies, lemonade and water will be provided. Space is limited so secure your spot today.
Faculty, if you would like your students to get to know our refugee community, please consider inviting your students to this event. Seats are limited, so RSVPs are requested.
