Join the Department of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at noon Friday, Oct. 13, in MEC 106 for a seminar titled “Emerging solution-processed thin film photovoltaic and other thin film devices.”
The seminar is free and open to the public. It will feature remarks from guest speaker Morteza Eslamian, an associate professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute in Shanghai, China.
Thin films and thin film devices have a ubiquitous presence in numerous conventional and emerging technologies. While this talk focuses on the development of thin film solar cells, due to the multidisciplinary nature of thin film devices, knowledge and advances already made in one area may be applicable to similar areas.
