Templeton has been a Boise State adjunct faculty member for 12 years. Prior to coming to Boise State, she was affiliated with the University of Michigan Health System for 40 years, was a consulting dietitian in long-term care, and served as a lecturer in the University of Michigan School of Education.

Carolyn Templeton recently was honored as a 50-year member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo in Chicago, Illinois. The academy, celebrating its 100th anniversary, is the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, and is committed to improving the nation’s health and advancing the profession of dietetics through research, education and advocacy.
