Reminders on Package Deliveries from Central Receiving

Boise State Central Receiving is committed to delivering your department packages in a timely manner. Below are some tips to keep in mind during the holiday and winter seasons. Central Receiving will be closed for upcoming holidays, so plan accordingly when ordering packages, including perishables, for delivery.

Expected Delivery Date

When tracking your package, please keep in mind the date shown as delivered means the package has been received by Central Receiving. This does not mean it will be the date of delivery to you. The following guidelines are used in the warehouse.

Overnight and cold packages will be delivered same day as received. Keep in mind when requesting overnight from a carrier that Central Receiving only receive packages 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and is closed on all Boise State University holidays and the designated holiday week. All other packages will be delivered by the next business day.

Label for Delivery

In order to ensure proper delivery to your department, the following should appear on the label of each package:

Boise State University
1910 University Drive
Recipient’s Name
Recipient’s Department
zip code: 83725-Mail Stop Number

Office Closures

Please email us at centralreceiving@boisestate.edu with the date you will not be receiving deliveries as well as the date you want deliveries to resume.

Personal Packages

As a reminder, Central Receiving is a state-funded resource and as a result, it should not be misused to transport personal packages. Please refrain from having personal packages delivered to campus.
